How did they do it?

The Kraft’s had a passion for innovation, but as fourth-generation dairy farmers, they struggled with aging equipment and energy hogs. The Kraft’s connected with a CEO AgEE Program energy auditor to identify numerous energy and cost-saving opportunities.

What was the outcome?

With the help of the CEO AgEE Program, Kraft Family Dairy equipment and energy hogs were optimized, lights were replaced, and a thermistor was added to their older dairy.

“We got thousands of dollars plus an awareness of other energy sinks that could be investment opportunities that keep us alive, and help us be green,” expressed Mary.
